Whilst New Year is also restful, our hogmanay dinner dance is a lively affair, always a good party with hangovers the next day to prove it... New Years Day starts with our famous five-course Victorian breakfast giving you plenty of energy for exploring our beautiful countryside or visiting the Lakeland sales.

TUESDAY 30th DECEMBER 2008
4.00pm	WELCOME CREAM TEA Gather by the log fire for a delicious cream tea to start the celebrations.
7.00pm	MEET YOUR FELLOW GUESTS IN THE BAR Enjoy a pre-dinner drink while making new acquaintances.
7.30pm-8.45pm	DINNER Time to sample some of the chef’s delights in our dining room.
11.30pm	BAR CLOSES Retire to bed ready for tomorrow’s ‘Big Bash’.

WEDNESDAY 31st DECEMBER 2008 - NEW YEAR’S EVE
9.00am	BREAKFAST A hearty breakfast to start the last day of the year
11.00am	CRUISE ON LAKE WINDERMERE Warm outdoor clothes required! Be at the pier in time!
1.00pm	CLUB SANDWICHES AND FRIES
4.00pm	TEA AND SCONES With homemade preserves and chantilly cream
7.30pm	CHAMPAGNE RECEPTION Champagne and canapés - the perfect way to get the evening underway
8.00pm	7 COURSE HOGMANAY DINNER Celebrate in style, and enjoy the exquisite New Year feast that awaits
	Afterwards, dance the night away with our DJ Ken Harper
Midnight	THE FINAL COUNTDOWN Raise your glasses and give a celebratory cheer as we welcome in the New Year.
2.00am	THE LAST DANCE Take a final twist and whirl across the dancefloor

THURSDAY 1st JANUARY 2009 - NEW YEAR’S DAY
10.30am	NEW YEAR’S DAY VICTORIAN BREAKFAST Start the year in style with a spectacular 5 course brunch to disperse the cobwebs and begin the New Year.
	Time to bid farewell to each other, and hope to meet again soon.
